Center of e-Learning Cluster collaborated with many parties, such as Medical Education Unit (MEU), Medical Education Cluster (MedEc) of IMERI, Center of Learning Resource UI (KSDP UI), SEAMOLEC (South East Asia Ministers of Education Organization Regional Open Learning Center). Our Collaboration with MEU, MedEc, and KSDP UI including research related to the utilization of SCeLE especially in FMUI. We work together with SEAMOLEC in developing Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform that known as Online Course IMERI-FMUI (OCI). This platform can be used and accessed widely, not only by internal (FMUI or UI students) but also external communities (non FMUI or UI students). It can be accessed via http://onlinecourse-imeri.fk.ui.ac.id/. Everyone who is interested in Open Content (OR) and Open Course (OC) of FMUI can participated. FMUI have a lot of interesting Open Content (OR) and Open Course (OC) materials in every department that will attract many participant’senthusiasts. There has been three open courses that provided in OCI such as Elective Module of Basic Herbal Medicine, Practical Guideline for Writing Manuscript Module, and Course of Applied Data Analysis.

Research of Center of e-Learning focused on developing of technology enhanced learning that can support learning program in medical education. We collaborated with Medical Education Cluster (MedEc) of IMERI and Directorate of Academic Development and Learning Resources UI (DPASDP UI) on research related to SCeLE and EMAS. Besides that, we also collaborated with SEAMOLEC (South East Asia Ministers of Education Organization Regional Open Learning Center) on research related to Online Course IMERI-FMUI (OCI). OCI is an online learning platform that has been developed by the center of e-learning cluster in collaboration with SEAMOLEC. This study will be conducted using e-learning based research and qualitative approach. Our current research project is to study acceptability of medical student toward Implementation of Learning Management System (LMS). It has been presented as an oral presentation in The 12th Jakarta Meeting on Medical education (JAKMED 2019) and the manuscript is still in the process of submission. In 2020, we plan to study about the use of e-learning in medical education and the perceived usefulness and easy to use of open course and open content as well as the readiness of the participants. The example of the research such as:

  • Effectiveness of e-learning in continuing medical education for occupational physicians.
  • The Role of E-Learning in Medical Education.
  • The comparative study of using e-learning, blended learning and traditional learning in medical education.
  • Perception and Readiness of lecturing staff in specialist education program towards online learning.
  • Assess The Effect of e-learning on Knowledge and Skill of Medical Students.
